The Boston 1900-07 dinner is not April 30 as appeared in March issue. Because of the class officers meetings in Hanover that weekend, the dinner has been postponed until May 7.
Bill McLennan is the author of HarrieDownie, the Restorer of the California Missions, which appeared in Westways magazine. Bill, as dean of Santa Barbara State College and head of History Dept., has become deeply interested in California history, piarticularly the Spanish part. He knows Harrie Downie very well. He has also been in charge of several fiestas at the missions and M.E. at the Santa Ynez Mission when the Rancheros Visitardores visited there.
I am indebted for the above information to Harold Hess, who sent me a copy of McLennan's letter, and to Peerade Drown who sent me a copy of Westways.
Incidentally Peerade is still a member of the Auto Club of Southern California, hoping to return there some day.
