On Friday, March 26, we held a luncheon meeting in one of the major restaurants in downtown Miami. In addition to our native members, we had some guests from other areas of the country. Winter tourists JohnOwen '05 and Bob Rodman '34 were present, as were four men attending the Vermont National Life Insurance Company's convention in Hollywood, Fla. The latter group included John Cunningham '18, Larry Eastman '19, Paul Richter '20 and Bob Burroughs '21. Bob Burroughs gave us a very interesting talk which included highlights of his trip to Hawaii with his wife and Mr. and Mrs. RogerWilde '21. He mentioned that there was a strong alumni group in Hawaii, and that they were entertained royally. We had a question period after the talk, and Bob, living so much closer to Hanover than most of us, ably supplied us with information of the latest happenings.

Chuck Garnsey '20 & Co. have just about completed processing the largest group of applicants from South Florida in years.

We are now planning our May meeting, which will probably be held on the evening of May 22. Wives and sweethearts will be invited, so any of you wandering Hanoverians who plan to be in Miami around that time, give us a call.
