The letter caddie, in which all miscellany accumulates, nets a minimum of class news and a maximum of bills this month. This is not to say that some mortality might not have occurred during moving and the holidays, but things appear mighty lean, poddner.

Pete Page has acquired a fiancee in Miss Marian L. Coward of Buffalo. She is a graduate of Endicott Junior College and TobeCoburn School. The clipping didn't mention any prospective wedding date.

While in Chicago awhile ago, we stopped by the Board of Trade for an early morning minute or two and watched Don Ryan trading in the corn pit. Time did not allow a tete-a-tete. For those of you who happen to have a few minutes on your hands in Chicago, the Board of Trade is really a fascinating place to watch the prices of major commodities being made right in front of your eyes in an example of well-organized bedlam.

Got some very nice Christmas cards from you people. Howie and Dottie Hilton, added a note from Tampa that they finally got a little girl. Chip and Rod's little sister is named Leslie. Dick and Huldah Bredenberg's Christmas letter telling of their adventures in a work camp in Holland this past summer and a short tour of Europe was very much appreciated. A few words of encouragement came penned on Bob Merriam's greeting, for which we are thankful. And to all the others who sent us a card, acknowledged or not, we appreciate your thought and wish you the best of New Year's.

Pete Foster is the manager of the Wallingford, Conn., operations of the Southern New England Telephone Co. Give him a buzz any time.

AI Gustafson is an associate professor of science at State Teachers College, Brockport, N. Y., teaching biology and field nature study. He and Nancy are expecting in March, which will add another to their family of four. Since the current job is a one-year stand, Al will report in on the next mission as soon as he gets it lined up.

Johnny Fenno reports that the treasury has a deficit to make up on account of everybody hasn't sent in their dues yet. How about you?

Bob Russell is looking for Assistant Class Agents to help man the Alumni Fund. A few hours is all that's required. Pitch in and help!

Dick Greene is back in Beantown working hard on some plans for regional get-togethers. We're looking for good reunion pictures to put in the MAGAZINE in future issues. If you have a good one or two, pass them along and we'll see if we can work them in.

Jimmy, Missie and I moved in our dream house on December 13 and now I know what Mr. Blandings meant. We do have a guest room now and we'll welcome any and all who stray our way. Also added a doxie pup who answers to "Schnitzel," if you can pronounce it. Come see us; the welcome mat is always out. See you next month.
