The Dartmouth varsity spring track team under Coach Ellie Noyes, with Ed Styrna coaching the field events, was to open its spring schedule April 23 at the New England Relays at Harvard University.

This is largely the same team that ended the winter season with a record of two wins and three defeats in dual competition and a sixth place in the Heptagonals.

Captain John Harlor, Dartmouth's broad jump ace, leads a group of 14 returning lettermen. Coach Ellie Noyes termed his spring prospects as "only fair" but hopes to pull some upsets along the line.
