Before you get your head all full of visions of sugar plums and tack your stocking by the chimney with care, let's have another look at who has been up to what at...

THE HITCHING POST

On September 8 Dave Beeman married Vondee Jenkins of New Orleans. The bride went to Tulane. Dave has been 'way down yonder for the Perkins Goodwin firm, paper production and management consultants.

A double-header occurred on October 20. In Old South Church, Boston, Phil See and Katherine Hobson Bradley of Dover, N. H., were wed. Brother Fred See acted as best man. Katherine went to Radcliffe. In New Rochelle Barbara Ann Scheib became the spouse ofGeorge Brazill. She's an alumna of Conn. College, and George graduated from Penn's dental school.

WALKING THE LAST MILE

Only two of Cupid's arrows hit their mark during the last month. Jack Brodie finally saw the light, a G.E. bulb naturally, and popped the question to Laura Lyla Ferguson of St. Paul. She learned right answers to other questions at Macalester College there. By the way, Jack wrapped up a master's sheepskin from NYU's biz school a while ago. The other announcement is dated October 7 from Melrose, Mass., where Bob Graham and Patricia Ann Fitzgerald are making plans.

RATTLE PRATTLE

A single addition to the nursery numbers was made September 2 when Lauren Brewster Ferguson was born. Parents Ben and NancyFerguson have taken inventory and conclude that Lauren has two older brothers. Ben and Phil See are both at National Shawmut Bank in Beantown, and from time to time munch 'burgers together at noon with "Red" Shaver. "Knuckles" Bob Wilson, they say, has moved to Greenwich, Conn. Doing what?

Congratulations, kids.

With the longest list ever to print in this issue carrying the grand news about the Alumni Fund, we've been asked to keep the remarks short and sweet. Well, short. Ted Bamberger and his cohorts did a magnificent job, but only because each of you dug down into your own pocketbook. Thanks a lot.

So, laying a finger alongside his nose, up the smokestack he arose wondering where he'd ever get any news for the next column. Could ya help us out with a postal card, chum?
