ANOTHER BRANCH FROM OUR TREE. We report with sorrow the death of RoscoeFrame who died Feb. 26 in Ipswich, Mass. Roscoe had stuck to teaching since graduation, having been Supt. of Schools in several New England communities. Until his retirement in 1955 he had been Sub Master of the Dudley St. District in Boston for 33 years with prominent success.

ON THE AIR FROM OHIO STATE. In February, Prof. Earl Wiley of Ohio State's Dept. of Speech broadcast two Lincoln Day programs. The first was entitled "Lincoln Visits Ohio." Another was titled "Buckeye Criticism of the Gettysburg Address." Thus, fame goes from basketball to oratory.

THE ANNUAL BOSTON DINNER AND MEETIN'. At the Statler, Feb. 14th, there gathered the Dartmouth faithful to drink toasts, eat chicken a la Dartmouth and to hear talks from President Dickey and others from Hanover. Seated at our table were the following 'OB Messrs., Anderson, Cowee,Gleason, McCarty, Knox, Lewis, O'Shea,Walker and Squier. Win Griffin was scheduled to attend but he came down with something and couldn't make it. Our Class could have won the attendance cup except so many of our boys went to other parts of the country to work. A pleasant time was had by all.

Dr. Albert Chandler ELECTED PRESIDENT. Out in Columbus a new club was recently formed, its moniker being "THE CLUB FOR OLD GUYS AND DOLLS," with Albert as its first president. It is a group of some 400 members of men and women on the elderly side who get together to complete their education, swap hobbies and do what comes easy. Albert retired in 1951 after professoring at Ohio State for 37 years and is considered an expert in the problems of the aged. He is apparently solving a few of them in Columbus.

THE VERO BEACH PARADE. A fine crowd is expected at this year's roundup extending from March 25 to April 25. If you have forgotten that you want to go, there is still time to correct it and have the time of your life.

A WELCOME LETTER FROM HOBART. We've all been wondering about Hobie and it's fine to hear from him directly thru letters from some of the boys relayed to me. Let me quote significant portions. He says:

"In August I developed a moderate case of T.B. Arriving here I was given the usual drugs which reacted unfavorably, especially the streptomycin which knocked me out and set back recovery for two or three months. I lost vision for about a month and had to be fed for several days. Since my arrival I have been confined to. my room with one trip a day to the bath room, permitted until recently. On Feb. 6 I was allowed to go outside for fifteen minutes a day, three days a week in suitable weather. I put on a pair of shoes for the first time since arriving, dressed and sallied forth and did it seem good after the long drought. I have gained weight and now top the scale at 144 lbs. which is nearly up to my usual poundage in recent years."

There is more but the above is enough to be mighty encouraging. They don't make 'em any better than Hobie and it's grand to feel that he is on the mend after such a long seige. Remember his address - Glencliff Sanitarium, Glencliff, N. H.

ABOUT 08's INFORMAL REUNION IN JUNE. The dates are June 6-7-8. As has been customary in recent years, those o8ers who hanker for a sniff of Hanover air or a bit of chatter under the ellums will gather in Hanover. The College will provide dormitory rooms at a very moderate rate. If you feel the itch to attend, it is necessary that you write to Mason Ingram, Bursar, giving facts as to arrival and departure and asking to be assigned with our class. You will then be advised to send check, etc. No program, no formalities. Just a method of turning back the years. Remember, this is Commencement weekend and it is very advisable that you sign up as early as possible. '07 will be having their big 50th and we can visit with a lot of sophomores whom we knew well in our day.

APPENDIX. Stand by for correction. Also pity the poor class scribe who can use only such information as given him. Apologies, of course.

Dana Parkinson asks that certain corrections be made in a recent news item about him and says, "I have never been connected with the hotel mentioned. I serve only in a very minor position in another hotel. I was not Honorary Chairman of the Rock Creek Park Day but served as Chairman of a Committee to invite people to serve on the Honorary Commission of the same. My wife is not with the Red Cross but is associated with the Warwick Cancer Clinic."

NOTE: Anyway the rest of it must have been true.
