An ambitious year is under way at the New York Club, with the usual number of cocktail-tea dance parties on the agenda but with some new program ideas well interspersed. A combined Dartmouth-Princeton party is on the docket for Friday evening, November 21, on the eve of the Dartmouth-Princeton game. December will see the annual Christmas Tea Dance on December 16.

in the unusual category, starting November 7 and on the first Wednesday of every month at 4 P.M. at the Club thereafter, a "Perspectives in Business" series will be run on an alumni level of Great Issues. The "Perspectives" seminars will have such men as Sig Larmon '14, Courtney Brown '26, Orvil Dryfoos '34, George Champion '26 and JoshuaDavis '28 to mention only a few, as conversation leaders in which their wisdom and ideas will be shared with interested area alumni.

In cooperation with the Downtown Gallery in New York City, the Club will sponsor an art show in January. Professor Richard Wagner of the College Art Department will lead off the showing with a talk, tour and film on art on January 13.

The refurbished and revitalized Club is experiencing one of the best years in its 34 year history as area alumni respond to the fine facilities available. The new Daniel Webster Dining Room has a capacity luncheon crowd every day, and the Ladies Cocktail Lounge has become a favorite meeting spot for Dartmouth men and their ladies.
