At the regular Thursday luncheon, our club president, Will Fitch '17, reported in detail about his recent trip to Hanover where he attended the meeting of the Club Officers Association. As a matter of fact, Will presided at that meeting also, since he was serving as prexy for 1958. It seems to us that these meetings of the Association have real value because they provide an opportunity for firsthand exchanges of experiences leading to more successful club operations. In addition, they tend to pull the clubs together in working toward the goals set by the college administration.

We held our Dartmouth Night party at the Shoreham Hotel this year. About 100 alumni, wives and parents of undergraduates attended the 5:30 to 8:30 cocktail affair. Naturally, there was sufficient noise, supplied in a large part by a dozen or more leatherthroated songsters. "Dartmouth's in Town Again" was sung many times, partly due to the season, but mostly due to the presence of Lyman Armes '12 who wrote it. Lyman didn't sing, so he was forced to listen.

Afterward many of us had dinner at Napoleon's which is owned by Panos George '29. Panos was the ever-perfect host, even to the point of obliging classmate Duke Barto by losing to him at gin rummy to close out the evening.
