George Sunderland, the next to the youngest man in the class, celebrated his 78th birthday, October 11. He says he is in good health and gets plenty of exercise by working in the yard, and playing golf three or four times each week.

Art Redman came East recently and he and Louie Crone had a fine reunion. Louie reports that Art looks well and happy. Art has two children, no doubt the youngest in the class. We will hear further about them later on.

Stan Qua's daughter and her family from Australia were here in the States this summer, so he was unable to be with us in Hanover in June. He only sees them at long intervals therefore he did not want to miss even one day of their company.

Marion and Steve Stevens had a pleasant call on the Hildreths in Westford this summer, and George French was also there to see them. Deacon has a collection of over 50 varieties of trees in his back yard. These he has planted himself, and has tenderly cared for them for many years, some of them are very rare. Mort Crowell has spent the summer in Cleveland and is now at his favorite winter resort, the Brahman Inn, in Kissimmee, Fla. He will be there all winter, coming back up North in the late spring.
