William Walker, Executive Vice-President of the First Pennsylvania Banking and Trust Company, was the featured speaker at our annual Dutch Treat Luncheon held Monday, December 29 at the Sylvavnia Hotel. Present were 26 alumni, 15 undergraduates, 8 fathers of undergraduates, and 2 guests. This was the best undergraduate turnout that we have had at any function other than the Annual Picnic for some years. It is to be regretted that there were not more alumni present.

The last-Monday-of-the-month special luncheons inaugurated in September will continue into 1959. Interesting speakers are being lined up, and notices will be sent by mail to all dues-paying members in advance of each such luncheon. At the same time, the loyal members of the tribe continue to gather at the Dartmouth-Princeton Club for luncheon on other Mondays.

As of the time of writing, plans for our Club Annual Dinner are being finalized. It appears that this gala event for alumni and their wives will be scheduled during the second or third week of March. Notices for the Annual Dinner will be sent to all alumni on our mailing list this month.

By the time you read this, the general Capital Gifts Campaign for the College will be in full swing in the Philadelphia area. We hope that all of our readers will open their hearts and checkbooks and give generously so that Dartmouth will be even stronger as it enters upon its third century a few years hence.
