Dean Hill attended a meeting of the Executive Committee of the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business held at Harvard Business School on October 23, 24, and 25. He also attended a symposium on' The Issues and Challenges of Air Transportation sponsored by the Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. in Hartford on November 1, 2, and 3.

Mr. Davis presented talks to two groups of Vermont businessmen on the topic, "Marketing Management, Strategy and Tactics." Mr. Foster attended the Scott Paper Company annual award presentation at their new building in Philadelphia on October 9 and 10.

Messrs. Foster, Morrissey and Prater attended the northeast regional meeting of the American Accounting Association at St. John's University on October 27 and 28. Mr. Morrissey presided at the Saturday luncheon meeting.

Mr. Olsen attended the annual meetings of the American Hospital Association and American College of Hospital Administrators in Atlantic City on September 23-28.

On October 9 Mr. Quinn made a presentation on "Evaluating Research Management" at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. He also spoke on "Evaluating Research Output" on October 24 at Symposium on Research, School of Agriculture, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N. J.

Mr. Broehl spoke before the Upper Peninsula Hospital Council Workshop on The Board of Trustees in the Hospital, at Iron Mountain, Mich., on October 18. He is also one of four co-authors of a new book "Administering the Going Concern: Cases in Business Policy" published by Prentice-Hall, Inc.

Mr. Gerald Fisch, executive vice president of Payne-Ross, Ltd. of Montreal, spoke to both the first- and second-year students on October 19 and 20. Topics covered included "Interesting Aspects of the Changing Problems of World Business," "Modern Management Consulting Practice," and "Approaches to the Organization of Manufacturing Companies."

Mr. Hughston McBain, retired chairman of the board of Marshall Field & Co., met informally with some of the second-year students to discuss some of the broader management problems faced today by executives in large department stores. He also met with a group of students who have career interests in the retail field.

Cleveland Amidon T'09 has been named Dean of the School of Business Administration, DeWitt Hall Junior College.

Bob Eaton '36 has been appointed fulltime director of the field experience program and business clinic at Nichols College, Dudley, Mass.

Bob Schill T'40 has been appointed vice president, marketing, of the Central Vermont Public Service Corp. Byron MansfieldT'41 was recently appointed controller of the J. F. McElwain Company, Nashua, N. H. Ralph Hersey '46 has been selected to teach at the Boston Chapter of the American Institute of Banking. Dick ShambroomT'47 and Betty J. Slater of West Englewood, N. J., have announced their engagement. Sam West T'47 is sales manager of Tyler International, Tyler Refrigeration Corporation, Niles, Mich. Frank Wuerfel T'49 has been appointed midwest regional sales manager of the Burry Biscuit Corporation, Elizabeth, N. J.

Dave Kurr T'so has been appointed regional manager of architectural and building products, Reynolds Metals Company. Harry Berwick T'52 and Beverly R. Pratt of Holyoke, Mass., have joined the married ranks and are living in Needham, Mass. HarveyKelley T'53 and Dorothy J. Tripp of Eastchester, New York have announced their engagement. Charlie Lyon T'53 was recently married to Katherine S. Mulford of Little Falls, N. Y. George Scully T'53 has been promoted to vice president of the Casco Bank and Trust Company, Portland, Maine. Charlie Fleet T'54 and Jacquelin R. Perry of New Canaan, Conn., have announced their engagement. Perry Free T'54 has announced his engagement to Ann Bradley of Arcadia, Calif. Bill Hazelton T'54 recently married Theresa M. Libbon of Laurelton, N. Y. Byron Menides T'54 is now associated with TOR Education, Inc. in the teaching machine and programmed learning field, New York City. Dick Steinberg T'ss and Judith A. Kahn of Larchmont, N. Y., were married this past summer. Neil MacNeillT'56 recently became engaged to Eleanor L. Brunswick of Woodside, N. Y. Don MixT'56 and Margaret Palmer of Worcester, Mass., were married this summer and are living in West Hartford, Conn. Bob CastlesT'57 was married in September to Janet H. Dorfmann of Malverne, N. Y. Bob Hickin'58 and Phoebe E. Hicks of Devon, Pa., have announced their engagement.

Bob Becker T'61 and Ann Monro of Cambridge, Mass., have announced their engagement. Ron deNeuf T'61 and Marilyn Hulme of Norwalk, Conn., were recently married and Ron is currently serving with the Navy, stationed in Athens, Ga. JerryLane T'61 was married in August to Lorryne R. Orlen of Brooklyn, N. Y. Joe McHugh T'61 and Brenda B. Baxter have an- nounced their engagement. Dick Mann T'61 has become engaged to Lois E. Henderson of Hazelton, Pa.
