Late Results

Dartmouth dropped into a tie with Princeton in the Ivy League basketball race when a trouble-plagued trip resulted in losses to Princeton, 76-69 in overtime, and to Penn, 68-64. Both teams now have 7-3 records. The hockey team took a firmer grip on first place by defeating Yale, 5-4, in an uphill battle at New Haven.

In a track meet in Hanover, Harvard won 65 1/3 to 43 2/3, but Tom Laris of Dartmouth stole the limelight by setting a new Dartmouth indoor mark of 4:13.7 for the mile. He and Doug Brew '57 held the old record of 4:18.2.
