This column this month shall be devoted to the correction of an abysmal error made in the December column. There it read: "It may be stated that in our decade (1890-99) '94 stands first in percentage of participation (311) and also in amount given ($1,437.00)."

Whoever took pains to look at the figures of the other classes in the decade mentioned found that the percentage figure of 311 attained by '94 was exceeded by '91, their figure being 350. The amount given by '94 ($1,437.00) was exceeded by '92 with the figure of $4,616.00, and by '98 with the figure of $1,538.00.

The mischief was that this columnist depended upon a semi-final interim statement from the College. Henceforth and forever, let us hope, no more "semi-final interim" statements will be taken as authoritative by CCM! Hats off to '91, '92, and '98!

Next month's column will be devoted to CHAT. What is CHAT? See next month's column.
