Clark Blyth's claim to the largest number of grandchildren has been equalled by Al Willey, Rochester attorney, who writes that he has nine, spread all over the world: Japan, Independence, Mo., Ithaca and Rochester, N. Y. Al wonders if his claim is tainted due to the fact he acquired four of them upon his marriage to Margaret. Al, your claim isn't any more "tainted" than Clark's. "Are they called step-grandchildren?" Al asks. Let's have some more entries in this grandchild derby.
Bill and Diana Hunt have acquired the title of Parents of the Youngest Child. Bill writes: "After Ned's death in April, 1959, I married Diana Bengston Theobald on December 19, 1960. Our daughter Margit was born at 4:00 A.M. on Memorial Day and now at five months continues to be well and happy. Perhaps her most outstanding characteristic is that she is very sociable. Diana and I are very happy, have a little house at 2815 Sheridan Road in Evanston, and I continue to be busy as Chairman of the Department of Psychology at Northwestern and as a consultant in psychology to both the Army and the Navy, plus my own research. Last year the Navy retired me with the rank of Captain in the Naval Reserve after some 21 years of service. I regret to say there are other signs of advancing age but so far so good."
We didn't call Margit the Class Baby because traditionally that title is for the first child born to a graduate. Most classes further restrict it to the first son, but our class wisely refused to get involved in charges of discrimination. Therefore our Class Baby is Bruce Lewis's daughter, Mary Virginia, born May 22, 1929, who attended Centenary Junior College and the University of North Carolina, and was married July 6, 1954 to Kenneth R. Cypher of Butler, Pa. Bruce, it's time to bring us up to date on Mary Virginia. Al Willey's daughter, Electa Ann, missed the Class Baby title by only six days.

Craig Haines has corrected our list of those attending the Penn game reunion in Hanover by pointing out that as treasurer he collected from Red Jenkins, Ham Hankins's son Frank '65 and friend, and Bill Marx's son. Bill '62, and friend.
Jack Kenerson, president of the mouth Alumni Association of Boston, is receiving congratulations on his work and the work of his committee in putting on a most successful liberal arts seminar for secondary school students and teachers in the Boston area. It was held October 25 at the Wellesley Senior High School with four outstanding members of the Dartmouth faculty, Provost John Masland, Walter Stockmayer, Charles McLane and John Stewart, speaking and exchanging ideas with the audience.
Bob and Kathy MacleHan and their 15 year-old daughter, Anne, toured Europe this summer, and so did Curly and Allene grosser. Curly is unhappy about the fact that a new New Jersey super highway will destroy his Basking Ridge home. Mary and I just returned a few days ago from a restful twoweek vacation in Ireland, sandwiched in between the '28 reunion in Hanover and Parents Day at the Lawrenceville School. We particularly loved Dublin, where we saw six plays by the Abbey Players and others, and attended the Wexford Opera Festival.
We are sorry to have sad news - JimHubbell died June 14; details will be in the In Memoriam section of the January issue.
