The past month has been a period of reunions for Sally and the Secretary. So many Dartmouth men and their wives are here in Vero Beach as guests at the Treadway's 1908 and Packard's 1925 lovely hotel, The Royal Palm Inn. Many have been our guests in our new home and it has been delightful to have them with us.

Special pleasure has been to have the Hobbs, the Websters, the Edgerlys and the Robinsons come to see us. Probably by this time they are all back in the "Still North" where springtime has arrived. We were very happy, too, to receive a call from Mrs. Conrandine Burch and her husband, Dr. Burch from St. Paul. Connie is the daughter of our Bruce Sanborn. We had Robbie in to meet them. The Doctor is a very noted eye specialist. We learned Bruce and Mrs. Sanborn were on a world tour, and at the present writing were in the Hawaiian Islands.

Your Secretary is not in the real estate business in Florida; owning only a very small plot of land, 130' by 85', but it has been a real haven from the frozen north. Robbie and I have enjoyed sitting in the grand-stands in our shirt sleeves, watching the Dodgers play ball and especially to see Mickey Mantle knock a home run for the N. Y. Yankees. Maris didn't play, sorry to say.

It is good to report Carl Woods and Marian are back in Boston improved in health, and Pen Mower at the Brookline Country Club is quite himself again after a severe illness. Artie Bolster of 40 Orange Street, Nashua, has also reported his health is on the mend.

Letter from Tom Streeter tells me he had a nice visit recently on the telephone with Hat Hardy of Seattle and got a report too on Harry Morse from Santa Barbara, Calif. He reports all in fair condition for Dekes. Rosie and Ellen Hinman leave shortly their home in Clearwater for North Stratford, N. H. Sorry we did not see them during their stay in Florida.

Letter from Cloyd Maynard up in Maine. This winter has been tough on him. If I write enough about the sunny south he may decide to try it, feeling fine, a proud father of two wonderful sons, both Dartmouth men too.

Cheerio, please do write your Secretary.
