As the fourth spring since graduation descends on us, a predictably large number of engagement and wedding notices indicates that many a young man's fancy does indeed turn to romantic thoughts and actions at this time of year.

Married recently in Litchfield, Conn., were Bill LeFleur and Dawn Marie Finan of Litchfield. Bill's a salesman for S. S. Pierce Co. East Northfield, Mass., was the site of the wedding of Dwight Foote and Gail Palmer Clark of Farmington, Mass. BoydParker and Sandra Lee Clark of Conway, N. H., were married in January. Boyd is manager of the Brunswick sub-office of the Retail Credit Co. Married in February were Larry Di Stasi and Margaret Mary Lowery of New York City. Among Larry's ushers was Tom Mapp. Margaret and Larry will be living in Port Washington, N. Y., where Larry's instructing at the Vincent Smith School.

Engagements include that of Ted Merritt and Linda Olsen. Ted's doing grad work at Rutgers in addition to teaching in Bridgeport, Conn. Also engaged are Bill Yahr and Sonia Brown who plan a fall wedding. Bill graduated from Harvard Med School last year. A wedding is likewise planned for Army Lt. Phil Weinseimer and Eleanor Fancourt.

A former special assistant to Lakewood, Ohio, Mayor Frank Celeste is Phil Ranney who now joins the law firm of Henderson, Quail, Schneider and Peirce of Cleveland. A recently successful applicant to the Connecticut Bar is John Fisk who joins the Hartford law firm of Alcorn, Blakeley and Smith. Named assistant general agent for the Oklahoma City agency of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Co. is Walt Wilson. Walt was moved up to staff supervisor of the agency in December 1960.

I heard recently from Pete and Judie Van who are living in Boston where Pete's practicing law. They sound happy, successful, and enjoy the presence of their one-year-old daughter in their Chestnut Hill apartment. New Instructor of Romance Languages at Bowdoin College is John McKee who recently passed the General Exam for his Ph.D. degree at Princton and is presently working on a doctoral dissertation.
