Football captain-elect Billy King has been given the singular honor of also leading the 1963 lacrosse team. The Richmond, Va., quarterback will thus become the first football captain to lead another sport since Charles "Stubby" Pearson did it in 1941.

The baseball captain for 1963 is Mike Nyquist, the Indians' power-hitting first baseman. A history major, Nyquist was switched from third base to first, and despite a knee injury sustained last year he proved a good defensive ballplayer.

Ashworth will lead the 1963 track team. An economics major, he is current holder of four Dartmouth sprint records and his 9.4 100-yard dash in the Heptagonals is the fastest for that distance ever recorded in New England.

Doug Floren of Jackson Heights, N. Y. has been elected captain of the 1963 tennis team. Playing in the numberfive position this spring, Floren compiled a 15-5 record and finished third in the New England Championships. He is a former New York State junior tennis champion.

The 1963 golf team will be led by Dave McCollum from Glen Ellyn, Ill. During the past season he played at both the number one and two positions.
