Dartmouth Night topped the fall activities as Southern California alumni joined together to pay tribute to the College. TomMcCrea '53 proved a master of wit as he humored a good turnout which enjoyed a delicious roast beef or lobster dinner. Handsome door prizes were awarded by JohnLyman '28, and Dick Hefler '36 gave a report of the Alumni Council activities. It was a fitting occasion to rekindle the never ending spirit of Dartmouth.

Chuck Robinson '31 has greatly revamped the enrollment activities to keep pace with the dynamic growth of the greater Los Angeles area. The region has been subdivided into twelve areas with eighty alumni active in the enrollment work. New area chairmen include John Liebman '56, Tom Cochran'46, Bob Blocksom '31, Don DesCombes'54, and Gene Givens '55. In Orange County, Bob Blocksom has added a stimulus to activity and recently entertained Charles Bond'53, John Greenwood '51, Jim Murar '62, and Dick Nelson '38 in a working session at the Irvine Country Club. We look forward to sending more students to Dartmouth from the nation's largest state as a result of increased enrollment activity.
