Treasurer Oldfield's news of a record number of class dues for last year was indeed heartening to those of us who have labored long and hard in the class vineyard. It has not been an easy job to break that barrier and now that it is done, don't let up. Let's improve on the record.

Mo Monahan may have been an end on the Big Green football team, but with Lehigh Warehouse & Transportation Company of Newark, N. J., he's right at the center of the line. John has been named vice president of operations, a new post, and has been elected to the board of directors. He was formerly manager of special services for Lehigh. In his new post Mo will coordinate terminal, warehouse, transportation, tank farm, packaging, drumming, and canning activities to conform to the principle of integrated distribution practiced by the various companies which comprise Lehigh Services. His background with Lehigh fits him for this direct responsibility for operations. The former Indian gridiron star joined Lehigh in 1947 as foreman in training, then advanced to superintendent and manager by 1954. The Monahans live in Fanwood, N. J., and have four children.
And that's all for this month except for the reminder that this column has a rather wide circulation. If there's something that you think will be of interest to Dartmouth men in general don't hesitate to send it along to me. It will be published.
