Only one month to go before we see you in Hanover for the terrific twentieth reunion. Hope your plans are made, but even if you have not definitely committed yourselves at this time, there's a spot for you. The weather bureau has promised perfect weather; the reunion committee has spared nothing in preparing a good time for all; and no matter who you are, how much time you spent in Hanover, and who your friends were, you'll find many familiar faces awaiting your arrival. See you in June.

I have news of lots of people going lots of places and doing lots of things, so here goes: Moe Frye reports that he just returned from a 23-day driving trip through three or four European countries. Claims he drove 3000 miles without hitting a thing. Likely story! Anyway, Moe will be at reunion to tell it all. From Mountain Lakes, N. J., comes word that Moose Rowan and Mrs. Moose will join the June fun. After 21 years (Gad, we are getting old) Granny Beals will retire this July from the U.S. Navy. Explains that he will not be able to attend reunion but will be thinking of us all. More information on AI Russell's new job with Lennox Industries explains that he is working in Corporate headquarters in Marshalltown, lowa, with the education department where he is responsible for coordinating all education (sales, service, management, etc.) between the corporation and its nine divisions. Likes it! Although he says that the geography, cornfields, pigs, etc., take some getting used to.

Steve and Ellen Mann report that their son, Bob '67, was named to the Dean's list for his first semester at Dartmouth. Are coming to reunion. Dinny and Sibyl Water-man will become Dartmouth parents this fall when their oldest child, Dana, accepted on the Early Decision Plan, joins the pea green ranks. Dr. Lou Wiederhold of Francestown, N. H., plans to attend as much of the reunion festivity as his duties will allow. Major Ray O'Crowley has been attending Air Command and Staff College and expects to return to the Strategic Air Command and Titan II weapon system this summer. Tom Harkness writes that he is building a ranch house in Thornton, Penna., but didn't say anything about reunion. He'd better be there.

From Dick Murray (ole, Dick) comes the news that his interest in Spanish took him to Mexico last summer to participate in a Second Level NDEA Institute for Secondary Teachers of Spanish and that he was so delighted with the experience that he is returning again this summer with his whole family, wife, Helen, and six children. Dick's going the wrong way as far as reunion is concerned. Bob Katherman, still sales manager for the Johnson Biscuit Co., Sioux City, lowa, travels the country on behalf of Johnson's cookies, and keeps busy with his sons, 10 and 12, in Little League, church basketball and Scouts. Bob promises to hit the overland trail in 1969 and trek to the 25th reunion. From Jacksonville, Fla., Paul Samek sends word that he is merchandise manager for Sears, Roebuck & Co., and chairman of the Jacksonville "Big Brothers" group. Bob Zildjian cymbally says "See you at reunion." Dean Miller wistfully regrets.

Don Brandt is one of three northern Chautauqua (N. Y.) County attorneys who have formed a new law firm with offices in Fredonia, Westfield, and Brocton. Don is assistant county attorney, former New York State Flood Commission counsel, former Peace Justice among other and many municipal and voluntary jobs. He is now attorney for the Town of Portland and the Ripley Central School District, and a member of the Committee on Justice Courts of the New York State Bar Association.

Last piece of news involves the appointment of Carter Lockwood to the Board of Trustees of Northwood School, Lake Placid, New York. Carter admits that the responsibilities of the job take him to the north-country frequently, especially in the winter - his five children are all now on skis and increasingly competent. Bill Hardenstine is now vice president, sales, for World Airways, Inc., based at Oakland International Airport, Oakland, Calif. Bill McKenzie's Goodyear Rubber association has taken him to the Republic of South Africa where he is located in Port Elizabeth.

That's it ... see you literally and physically soon.
