Only two more months to go to '51's Fantastic Fifteenth Reunion. If it makes you feel any younger, it's really only our 14th; but this way we get a chance to get back to Hanover with our friends of '49 and '50. I look forward to seeing many (I wish I comld say most) of you there with your families June 17-20.
Our New York City area contingent is making plans for its third annual spring cocktail party, which will be a pre-Reunion pep rally. The date (tentative as of the time of this writing) is Friday, April 30, 5 to 8 p.m. The place: The Dartmouth Club in the Commodore Hotel. Wives and guests are invited.
By now, this year's '5l Alumni Fund campaign has been under way for over a month. Things got off to an early start under the able direction of CHARLIE HOOD and JOHN HATCH, so that we should be wound up by Reunion. Let's make our contributions such that we can hold up our heads at Reunion. Did you know that last year both '50 and '52 raised over $5,000 more than we did? Think about that when you write your check, or give serious consideration to sending in a second check if you've already contributed.
Turning to news about classmates, every item in this month's column but one is based exclusively on your responses to my postcard request for news from classmates whose names haven't appeared herein since last Reunion. If you've sent back your postcard and are wondering when the news about you will appear, please remember I'm only allowed 1200 words a month. To be fair, my general rule of thumb is to publish in order of receipt.
