There can be few class presidents to rival Percy Dorr in length of service. He was elected in June of 1902, and held office continuously until his death in May 1957. It is gratifying to note that his one surviving daughter, Mrs. C. Brooks Begg, of Grosse Pointe, Mich., and her husband, have recently deeded the old Dorr home in Springfield, Mass., to the South Congregational Church of that city, as a parsonage, to be a memorial to the Dorrs. This is very fitting, since Percy and his wife were active in this church for many years. He was a longtime member of the South Church Finance Committee and was at one time, treasurer. Their memory, therefore lives on, not only for what they have done for Dartmouth, but for the religious life of their community. We honor them for both.

In fact, '02 has been fortunate in all its presidents, having been served not only by Percy Dorr, but by Bradlee Watson after him. and then by Phil Thompson and now by Chet Studwell. The latter, incidentally, has just recovered from what he tells me is his first operation! He recuperated in the Barbados. Rumor has it that his son will fly him to Hanover for our 65th Reunion next June.

It is obvious that no one can keep up with the ramblings of Duckie Drake. At the moment, he is in Hawaii, but will be back in time to attend the reunion.

For those who may wish to note the change of address of classmates, C. W.Davis is now living at 7209 Skyway, Evergreen Motel Trailer Park, Paradise, Calif. 95969.
