Sam G. Wing writes that he and his wife have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary and that he is beginning a new life "on foot," as he sold his car recently on the advice of his doctor. He has been driving since 1910. Fifty-six years at the wheel is a great record! Also he mentions that he and Myron Witham went into the apple country last fall and stocked up. This should keep them in good shape for some time. Sam's last bit of news is about his daughter, Mary, who lives in California and has three children. The oldest granddaughter is on the honor roll in a high school of over 2,000, so she should qualify for the Dartmouth Summer School Program.

Mrs. Ferdinand B. Edgerly writes that she is going to continue to live at Hotel Carpenter in Manchester, N. H. Also she states that she is hoping to keep busy with her interests in Smith College and with her many activities and friends of Dartmouth.

Word has reached us that Marion Woods is enjoying her trip around the globe. Marion has met many congenial people and some Dartmouth acquaintances who have added to her pleasure.
