I got a letter from Doug Montgomery the other day who justifiably complains that I had the announcement of his pending marriage one year ago in last February's issue. To straighten it out, Doug and his wife Judy were married this past August. Bill Craig was one of the ushers. Judy graduated from Pembroke in 1966 and is a doctoral candidate in English at Syracuse University. He relays the news that Dave Plavin and he are teaching urban government at Syracuse University this spring. Bill McGregor and his wife Carol are running a girls' dormitory system of 1,000 plus girls. He has also heard from Bud McGrath who is in Vietnam at a base camp 30 miles east of Saigon operating as the logistics officer. His wife Lois and daughter Elizabeth live in New Jersey. He points out that this is recent news.

Gene Veto and Jean Leidy were married at the end of January in Reading, Pa. The sum of my information is contained in the wedding announcement. They plan to live in Hollywood, Calif.

I got a letter from John and Nancy Begley who are now living in Sausalito, Calif. John graduated from Cornell Law School in June and passed the California bar in August. He is now employed by a San Francisco law firm. They have two children, Christopher and Jason who were born in September 1967.

Ray Noecker and Carlee Ann Astle became engaged in December. Ray graduated from Tuck School in 1965 and is now with Arthur Andersen and Company in New York City - a June wedding is planned.

Jeff and Janet Pitchford opened a ski area in Windham Center, Vt., called Timber Ridge. The small area will be open weekends and holidays for public skiing. There will be instruction with emphasis on racing, with Jeff doing the teaching. He and Janet were married in New York City last December.

Fred Rothenberg and Miss Mary Sue Flom were married in Tampa, Fla., in November. The bride is a graduate of Northwestern University and expects to receive her Master's degree from Columbia in January. Fred received his law degree from Columbia Law School last June; he is a lieutenant in the Army Reserves. Fred and Mary plan to live in Eatontown, N.J. Bob Ginsberg has joined the firm of Attorney Gary R. Ginsberg in West Haven, Conn. Bob graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School last year. Bob and his wife Sharon are now living in New Haven and have one child.

That's all the news I have for the moment and as the ALUMNI MAGAZINE deadline is at hand I will close.
