Ours is certainly a mobile class. I am getting about ten address changes per month. When you notify the College of a change, drop me a line too.

Dwight A. Beebe is now with the CarlisleAllen Co. in Ashtabula, Ohio. Jim Chubb has been established in Herstal, Belgium, by Uniroyal Inc. Bruce Barnes has moved as far but in the opposite direction going from Cornell to the Department of Math at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

As Gene reported in our News Letter, Class Chairman, Allen Stowe is now in the. world of high finance with the First Hanover Corporation in New York. His job as assistant to the president of this fast growing Wall Street firm involves him with all facets of their business. If the fact that one of their investments is in a pig breeding farm is any indication, Allen's new position is going to give him a diversified experience.

Paul Quinlan, who is now a Jesuit seminarian teaching at Holy Cross College, presented a concert in January under the auspices of the Dominican Academy Alumnae Association. A guitarist who writes his own folk hymns, Paul's songs run the gamut of folk styles from hillbilly and Negro spiritual to Middle Eastern and Spanish.

Jack Patterson has waited eight years, but if the picture of his bride-to-be, Lynne Waring, is any indication he was wise to wait. Jack is with the Chemical Bank in New York City. Lynne is a Colby Jr. graduate. Ruth Hoyne and I share a birthday on April 4. The only trouble is that she will be one and I will be thirty. Back in June of 1960, thirty seemed a long way off. Lois and I had dinner with Ruth's parents, Genie and John Hoyne, recently. John's with the Ted Bates Advertising Agency in New York. They have six children which is prompting a move in June to a new home at Mountain Lakes, N. J.

Carolyn and Roger Schaefer are getting started with their family. Jeffrey David was born February 17. The Schaefers live at 350 South Fmley Avenue, Basking Ridge, N. J.

I received a good letter from Jack Ford, who has settled down at 656 North Ripley Street, Alexandria, Va., with his wife, Elaine and their two children. Jack received a B.S. m Bacteriology in 1962 from the U. of Maryland. However, after a little over five years in the Air Force he has matriculated at the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary. He had the typical experience of being assigned duty in the service which was completely unrelated to his undergraduate training. But he did see some good bases. Jack's last duty station was near Adano, Turkey.

In order to give this column a little journalistic boost, I am going to quote a letter from Mort Kondracke: "After graduation, I worked for a little newspaper in Ohio for the summer, then went into the Army for three years. Lived in Washington, did little work, never wore a uniform, became a conservative Republican because there was then no New Left. After the Army, came to Chicago to work on the 'Sun Times.' During 1965 I was Springfield bureau chief. Came back to Chicago in January 1966 to do national reporting poverty, civil rights, politics. Became a clean-shaven New Left radical of sorts. Still am one, though I speak softly and carry no bombs. Won two Illinois Associated Press awards, one for a piece on open occupancy, the other on riots." Mort married Millicent Martinez last October. They are moving to Washington to cover international affairs for the Sun Times.

Jake Crouthamel has hit the football smoker circuit. In January he gave a talk with films of the 1967 season for the Dartmouth College Club of Northwestern Connecticut. Former Connecticut resident, Albert Pieper has become purchasing manager for Weston Instruments, Inc., Weston-Lexington Division. The firm makes electronic test equipment and Al buys metal fabrications, electronic components and machine parts. The Piepers have two pre-school-age daughters and live in Needham, Mass.

Edmond Hanauer, lecturer in government at Babson Institute, spoke on "Starting over in the Mideast" at the Babson Faculty Colloquium in January. His interests have led him to membership in the American Political Science Association, the Middle East Institute, and the American Civil Liberties Union.

It sounds like Gordon Biggon is going to try to clear up some of Smith, Barney & Co.'s backoffice headaches. He has been named second vice president of this 94-year-old international investment banking firm. He assumes responsibility for computer application in their research department. Gordon and his wife and two daughters live in Chatham, N. J., where he is a member of the Jaycees.

Dr. John Barchilon took time from what must be a very busy schedule to write. John graduated from Yale Med in 1965. He interned at Yale and then went on in surgery at the-New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He is now in surgery at the Veterans' Hospital in the Bronx, N. Y. He must be almost ready for private practice since he has mastered the art of illegible handwriting.

Setfa Strickland did an outstanding job as alumni fund chairman last year. We can make his job easier this year by prompt and generous support of the Fund.
