Sally Johnson, widow of Beck Johnson, wrote recently that she is well and had a busy time during the fall of 1968. She worked on a campaign to get every potential voter registered in her county and then on a survey to determine presidential preferences. To "Good Citizen Sally," we should make an appropriate award.

We learned from a note from her sonin-law that Mrs. Armen Mangurian has had a fall and has been an invalid for the last four years. However, he reports that she is mentally active and alert and reads most of the day, and also enjoys television. She recently celebrated her 88th birthday and lives with her daughter's family at 477 Park Ave., Manhasset, N. Y.

Recently word was received that Mildred B. Ford, wife of our classmate Dr. David E. Ford, passed away on September 14, 1969, after a brief illness in Washington, N. C. David is currently retired, living at Riverview Manor, Washington, N. C., in the same town with his daughter, Mrs. Nancy F. Rodman. The sympathy of the class is extended to our classmate and his family in their bereavement.

After hearing so much wheezing on the television about the importance of teaching a trade of some sort to old people above 65 in order to make them a useful segment in society, it is a pleasure to know about a man over 85 who is remaining active in his work, a profession in which he has been engaged for over 50 years. We are speaking of our Class Treasurer, Bruce Sanborn, whose long career has brought him many honors and who is still alert and active as head of his law firm in St. Paul. With a letter from him there recently came a card announcing the change of the name of his partnership from Sanborn, Jackson and Rice to Sanborn, Rice, Holcomb, and Grayson. Concerning this change, which is indicative of a reorganized partnership, Bruce wrote:

"The enclosed card tells of the change of our firm name. Mr. Jackson is no longer living, but we had continued to carry his name for some time.

"Mr. Holcomb is an able lawyer, a Harvard law graduate, and has been associated with us for many years. Mr. Grayson is much younger than any of us, is very active and industrious, and has had much trial experience. He left the firm with which he was to come with us. This seemed an appropriate time to change our firm name. I enjoy the practice and our association with each other."

The address of the new partnership remains the same as that of its predecessor, 520 Endicott-on-4th Building, St. Paul, Minn. 55101.
