Three score and ten years ago or thereabout the month of December brought not only "joy to the world" but joy to the homes of ten of our classmates. A happy birthday and Merry Christmas to HowardCurtis, Fred Davidson, Frank Donovan,Carroll Edson, Gail Gardner, Mat Hallett,Charlie McLaughlin, Francis Pooler, and Lize Wheelock with special Wah Hoo Wah for Gail who was born on Christmas Day.
Sorry as our Chairman Vogie Stiles is to accept the retirement of Fred Davidson as Class Agent, he is delighted that AbrahamJames Newmark of 171 Brimbal Ave., Beverly, Mass. 01915 has agreed to take over from Fred this most responsible position.
We've had far too little news of or from our Fourteenettes but it was a real pleasure to have with us at our June reunion in Hanover Marie Hazen from Holyoke, Mass., Katherine Hinman from Rome, N. Y., Connie Humphrey from Lake George, N. Y., Madeleine Piane of Hanover, and MildredPrichard from New Britain, Conn.
When it comes to travel Fourteenette Jesse Beck yields to no one but report has it that after frequent oscillation between Santa Barbara, Calif., and Rome, Italy, Jesse's latest zip code is now 33403 meaning Apt. 115 F, Village Garden Apts., 419 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, Fla.
By way of a note from Helen Adams writing from Reno, Nev., came word that her husband Irving Adams, a classmate in 1910 and '11, had as of October 10 been in a local hospital since last July. Our love to both.
As a postscript to the above notes word has just been received of the death of our classmate, Richard Vose McAllaster in Hampton, N. H., on October 26. Survivors include his wife Frances and his brother John, a member of the Class of 1920. To them we extend the sympathy of the Class.
