The fall reunion of the Class of 1917 will be held at the Hanover Inn on September 19 and 20. Bob Boynton has made the arrangements and full details appear in The Sentry.

Burton Gale acknowledged his December birthday with the remark: ''Neither the birthday nor the passage of time seem to get me down, for the Gales young and old continue to be in reasonably good health, which is a blessing and about all I can ask for."

Duke Howe acknowledges his election by the Executive Committee as follows: "Thank you so much for your letter and kind thoughts about the future and particularly since I am going to try out in the capacity of Class Secretary. You may be assured that some of these jobs which are not sought for seem to fall into one's lap. Frankly, I had no idea that Vic Smith was going to get through with the deal because I told him I would not be able to do anything until the summer or fall months, but in a pinch I would certainly help out the good Class of 1917."

Bob and Josephine Nuese sent out a most interesting Christmas card, which they evidently ran off on their own press. Bob's arthritis makes it necessary for him to navi- gate with a couple of canes, but he is still able to stand up to the machine.

Walt and Phoebe Walters sent us a map and pictures showing their recent peregrinations in the Pacific areas as well as an account of their attendance at four surgical meetings, in Munich and Prague last summer and Atlantic City and Boca Raton in the fall. We can never be sure where they are hanging their hats.
