It seems that our class is in the full cycle of marital affairs. We have several times in the last year congratulated some of the remaining class bachelors and now we have to congratulate Marvin Midgette and his wife on the engagement of their daughter Marianne to Richard C. Dubuque. Both youngsters are graduates of Lebanon High School and are members of the senior class of the University of New Hampshire.

Robert B. Rowland has joined Connor & Walker, Inc., insurance brokers, as assistant secretary in property and casualty lines. Rowland who holds a CPCU degree and a diploma in corporate risk management was formerly employed by the Aetna Insurance Co. as survey engineer, special agent and fire underwriting supervisor. Rowland lives in West Hartford at present.

We were glad to hear from Sax Fletcher who recently published a book based on a collection of items from the columns of Darrell N. Toohey who had been writing "On the Firing Line" column in the Springfield (Mass.) Union for over 25 years. Sax had been working with him since 1954 until the time of death in 1961. Mr. Toohey was Dartmouth '26. We wish you all good luck with the book, Sax.

We have some additional '47s who have been roaming around the country, Frank Weber is now settled with his family at 14354 Broadgreen Drive, Houston, Texas Whatever else Frank may have improve by moving to Houston it certainly isn't the local baseball club. John Sisson is living about as far away from Hanover as you can and still be in North America. His latest address is 4715-139th Street, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Anybody passing through be sure to say hello to John. Walt Francis has relocated himself at 237 Millville, Mendon Mass. Anyone wishing to get in touch with John Amorosino can do so at Box 393, North Canton, Conn. Another new box number is 1061, Rockville, Md., for Milt Bloodgood. Relocated in the windy city k Ed Churchill at Apt. 20 E, 4100 N. Marine Drive, Chicago, Ill. Back in Connecticut we find that John F. Day Jr. is at 12 Lakeshore Drive, Farmington, Conn. Those of you who remember the old drive from Hanover down to New York will remember that quiet shaded community.

Dick Menin back in action in the middle of the Alumni Fund Drive informs us that he was successful in recruiting some additional class agents. Namely, Kenneth E. Brown, Robert Green, Lansing Reed, and Ralph De Fonce. By this time all of us have received mail from the Alumni Fund and probably have been contacted by our class agents. All the good reasons to give have been said many times before and if we don't realize them by this time there does not seem to be much point to it. However one great help that we can all be is to respond quickly and to give the best gift that you can (and the one you know you are going to give anyway) as soon as possible so that the work of the class agents and regional class agents and Dick Menin will be a little less arduous and certainly less nerve-racking.
