The most important business of the month is the Alumni Fund. The request of the college is that you give something... even if it's a few bucks. If you don't want to give, write the College or your class agent a note telling them why. The important thing is that all alumni are heard from one way or the other. You can love the College or you can hate it, but please don't just ignore it ... no progress can come of your silence.

Now then, to the news of the Class. Rapid Robert Shearer wrote a most jolly note concerning his activities. Bob is in administration at Cornell and undoubtedly doing a most laudable job from his temporary office in a tent behind the occupied administration building. Bob reports that Cleve Carney is in Chicago still with Boise-Cascade. Skip Barnett is teaching in Plattsburg, N. Y., Bob Garrity is with Shell Oil in Texas someplace

... or maybe it's Gulf Oil in Texas someplace ... in any case he's in Texas someplace. Ken Droupa is on temporary duty with the Army in Ft. Meade. Whitey Dunphy is a pilot with Pan American. Frank Ginn is in Chicago with International Harvester, and Bob Wack is doing his thing with Ford in Birmingham. Terrific news coverage, Shearer ... you BELONG in college admin!!!

More news, Neil Karlin and Miss Terri Mackler of Philly were wed in May. Neil is a doctor at Mt. Sinai in NYC. Parker Albee and Miss Marian Resch are due for a June wedding. Parker is teaching history at the Univ. of Maine.

Battlin' Bill Blue has made another move upward .. . he's now assistant to the vice president of the International Division of Riviana Foods of Houston. Way to go, Bill! Send food to Biafra!

Ye Gads, the Willis family is even Bigger!!! Jeannie recently wrote that she was the proud mother and John the proud father of twins in June . . . they're both nifty boys. Jeannie figures that John was so confused at those two a.m. feedings that he bottled the same baby twice. Nice going, John. He by the way is a recent recipient of his Master's in Engineering from Northeastern University and is with the firm of Camp, Dresser & McKee, Consulting Engineers.

I learn that Dave Dickey has joined the bar ... or rather has been admitted to the bar of Pennsylvania. He's working in Greencastle, Pa. Dave is also doing nice things in Pennsylvania politics.

That, brothers, that's it... cough up.
