The snow has evidently interfered with the mail, or class members are too lazy to write. I wrote 32 letters but haven't received a single answer. Maybe everyone is waiting to start on the 1973 Alumni Fund.
Anyone who hasn't read the article in the January Alumni Magazine should do it now. Total class giving to June 30, 1972 is the subject of the Alumni giving. It lists the record of 72 classes and 1906 can be proud that it stands in 12th place.
Unless classmates send in gifts that exceed last year, we are going to make a very poor showing. Any help that members can give me will be greatly appreciated.
I am sure that everyone would like to know how our president is getting along. I have written him several times but have had no reply.
