Thanks to Frank Drake's efforts and initiative, plans for our 70th reunion, next June 9-10-11 are taking shape. If you have not already heard from Ducky, here is our schedule. Three rooms have been reserved for reuning classmates at the Hanover Inn. (Jim McFate will hold more, as soon as we let him know how many will be returning). Rooms for next of kin (widows, sons, daughters) will be available in one of the new college dormitories. A function room has been reserved on the second floor of the Inn, which will serve as class headquarters and in which one of the class dinners may be served. The other dinner, quite appropriately, may be held in the Drake Room of Hopkins Center.

Transportation, as required by members of the Class, will be available by a college car. For those coming from a distance and by air, Executive Airlines makes frequent connections from Boston and Mohawk Airlines from New York, an escort may be had from your airline to Executive or Mohawk. If your travel agent can not arrange it, it can be done in Hanover.

There is no doubt in our minds that many more than the three classmates anticipated by the College will be coming to this reunion, so it behooves you to inform Ducky at once of your plans, so that extra rooms may be reserved.

On other matters, Hermon Farwell did a grand job, as you must have noted, on the Alumni Fund campaign. Everyone, considering his circumstances, did his best in Hermon's support.

From Hermon, notes of sadness—the passing of Mrs. Arthur L. Eaton in March. She had contributed regularly to the Fund in her husband's name. Hermon was also informed that Mrs. Arthur E.Patrell died July 9, 1970. Nearest to us personally was the passing of HelenChivers, a delightful warm person, a wonderful mother of five fine boys, and a very talented crafts person. Her passing came quite as a shock to us, as when my son visited Arthur and Helen not long ago, she seemed so well and alert. The sympathy of teh Class goes to Arthur.

From the Dartmouth Club of Central Florida secretary Kenneth Thomas: "Ken Simonds '25 brought his mother, ElizabethHill (Ken's Ma, Mrs. Harry C. Hill) to the annual dinner meeting. Kenneth Thomas enclosed Mrs. Hill's thank you note, written in firm hand. We hope that Mrs. Hill will return to our 70th."

An interesting letter from Robert Jackson '00, who comments on the fact that of the 15 oldest Alumni, three came from Littleton, N. H. (Jackson, Frank Cudworth and your secretary).
