Seems silly to be still talking about football when we know that you will be reading this sometime in January. However, a final wrap-up of '47s at some of the games in November would show that Norm Fink came up from Philadelphia, John Kinnard in from Long Island, DickMenin from Westchester and ArnoldWeber by subway from downtown New York, all for the Columbia game. In addition, many of the '47s who regularly follow the team were present. Incidentally, this was one of the most thrilling games that Dartmouth ever lost and in light of the weeks that followed it became especially heartbreaking.

We did not get down to Princeton as it was ski boot shopping weekend for our family but class president, Ed Senghas, informed me that again in addition to the regular camp followers he saw Julie Sayer,Perry Anderson, Frank Werfel, HarleyTimbers and Ted Meier. Promise you no more football news until next season.

Evidently Sam Tassel is still active on the North Shore, living in Marblehead, Mass., and president of the Admiral Insurance Agency, still active not only in business affairs but in public affairs, expanding in clear-cut terms his definite opinions on such varied subjects as drug abuse, graduated income tax, and state lottery bills.

If you are reading this surrounded by snow and cold as most of us are, think ahead a few months to lune 15, 16, 17, and 18 and the warmth and beauty of Hanover at that time of the year. If by the remotest chance you have not yet sent in your reservations for '47s big 25th Reunion, do so immediately as it is a once in a lifetime event that you certainly don't want to miss. That's the light mail bag for this month—Regards to all.
