If '65 has a migration season, it's fall—Dartmouth football games really bring classmates out of the woodwork, especially when the games are in Hanover.

The Princeton game weekend in mid-October was a very big time, and only the Tiger left town unhappy. '65 was well represented in Hanover, and rumor has it that even Palmer C.D. Wooglin was in town. His glory was not seen by mine eyes, however.

I did see Bob McCormaughey, who continues to labor as a tax attorney in D.C. as he grows increasingly interested in making a move to the North Country. Among the many other class members seen that weekend were John Glovsky, a Boston lawyer, Jock Hosmer, local banking hero, Mike Buckley, Tuck Mays and Ed Keible. Also, Steve Horvath who is currently with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Boston and Jim Randell.

A week later, as the Big Green maintained their unblemished record vs. Brown 49-20 (we haven't lost to them since formal Ivy play began in 1956), '65 Tabards reuned in Hanover to relive the golden era. Pete and Nancy Breitling,Art and Nancy Rainey, Tom and LindaSampson, and Jack and Suzanne MacDonald returned to the scenes of their youthful escapades and terrorized the house, the Hanover Inn, and all the geography in between. Rumor has it that their plans for a gala extravaganza at the Dartmouth-Princeton game in 1974 had a lot to do with McFate's retirement.

Incidentally, the Raineys welcomed number one son Douglas into the world last spring, and they are preparing to move to Philadelphia now that Art's Navy stint is almost over. He'll be with the law firm of Dechert, Price, and Rhoads. The Breitlings, not to be outdone, had a second son last winter (Bradford) and they are staying in Philly, where Pete is a successful lawyer.

On other fronts, the Clinton Tennessee law firm of Ridenhour & Ridenhour has announced that Jim Ramsey is now associated with them.

Tom Fletchner writes that he and Valerie have moved to Cleveland where they are both ensconced in academia. Tom is an assistant professor of chemistry at Cleveland State University, and his bride teaches biology at Case Western Reserve.

Zach and Pearl Hahn visited this country recently on a respite from his duties with State Department in Ankora, Turkey. He's with the Agency for International Development.

The General Electric Research and Development Center in Schenectady, N. Y., has announced that Bob Blean has joined its staff as a systems programmer.

Two of our numbers continue to make progress in the ranks of the U. S. Army. Jim Hartmann is a captain and a communications officer serving at Richards-Gebaur AFB near Grandview, Mo.

Paul Schunke is a major and has just completed the Army Medical Dept. Officer Basic Course at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.

The Harvard extravaganza in late October was also a popular spot for '65's. We saw Jim Hamilton, an executive with Nimrod Press in Cambridge. Mike Orr was east from Minneapolis where he toils for General Mills. Punch Lochridge was there—he's vice president of the Boston Consulting Group. Drs. Kent Salisbury and John Bullock, Jim Scott, and JeffDavis led a sizeable '65 contingent in the Colonnades and Briggs cage.

The Class. Executive Committee held a meeting in Hanover on November 11. I'll have a report of that news next month. In the meantime, remember that you are encouraged to write Pete Frederick with suggestions and ideas about class activities or projects.

Best wishes for a happy holiday season to you and your families. Peace!
