Best wishes for a happy, prosperous and refreshing holiday season to all members of the Class of 1966 Family.

Jim Cason is working his way through the Department of State. Last summer Jim was transferred from his post as vice consul in San Salvador to a one-year Washington stint as special assistant to the Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs. But Jim's stay in Central America bore even greater dividends. On August 19 he married Carmen Aguiluz, former Sales Director for Chilean Airlines in El Salvador, who is now working with the Organization of American States in Washington.

Al Keiswetter, another member of State, has completed a year of work at Harvard earning his MA in Government, and is back with the European Bureau specializing in Regional Political Military Affairs.

And speaking of military affairs, JohnHughes has recently been named to a difficult command—Fraternity Business Manager at Dartmouth. The 20 local and national fraternities (down from 24 during our residence in Hanover) have hired John to assist them in improving their financial position by negotiating for bulk contracts for goods and services, as well as to represent the fraternities in certain dealings with the College. John prepped for his assignment with four years as a Navy officer and a hitch as president of Phi Kappa Psi.

U. S. Air Force Captain John Garrison, with 18 months of duty in Southeast Asia behind him, is now an instructor of political science in the Department of Political Science at the Air Force Academy.

Make a New Year's resolution to pound your chest this year, let people know just how good things have been, and write the Alumni Magazine. And in 1973, let's all take some time each day, a few minutes will do, and do something nice for somebody else.
