Keeping in the sports vernacular, JaySchochet, President of Codman Co., Inc. was the guest speaker at the recent Northern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce Breakfast held at the Williamstown Inn, Williamstown, Mass. Codman Co., Inc. was tentatively designated as the North Adams, Mass., downtown developers.
Others honored by the Chamber with Jay were Robert O'Dell, Head Football Coach at Williams College and District I small college coach of the year, Roger Cirone, football coach of the undefeated and untied Drury High football team, and two college presidents, John E. Sawyer, Williams College President, and James T. Amsler, President of North Adams State College honored for their building programs.
Jim Rosenfield has been promoted by CBS Television to vice president for eastern sales. He had been director of that department, a position he held since 1969. Jim joined the network sales department as an account executive in 1956, becoming director of Daytime sales from 1967-69. Before joining CBS, he held positions with Airequipt, Inc., Polaroid, and NBC. He and his wife Nancy live in Scarsdale, N. Y., with Lauri Ann, 15, and James, 13.
It's still hockey time here in New England and on the brighter side of the sports picture, the Bruins are very much in the thick of the race for the coveted Stanley Cup. This could be the year!!!
The Board of Trustees of Vail-Deane School, Elizabeth, N. J., announced the appointment of Jesse Morgan as Headmaster effective July 1, 1972. Jesse has been the Assistant Headmaster of the Pingry School, Hillside, N. J. since 1967.
He is a member of the Cum Laude Society and the Association of College Admission Counselors. He is a deacon of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth; a member of the Men's Forum of the church and a co-founder of the Westminster Nursery School Committee.
Jess and his lovely wife Doris have three children, Jesse J. 3rd, a freshman at Trinity College, Cheryl, 14; in the ninth grade at Vail Deane, and Peter, 8, in the third grade at Vail Deane.

Empire National Banks reported that Walt Lashar has joined the Newburgh, N. Y., based bank as vice president in charge of the Marketing Group. Formerly associated with the Mechanics National Bank of Worcester, Mass., Walt was vice president of the Retail Services Group and was responsible for new services development, advertising, public relations, branch administration, Bank Americard, and the banks travel agency.
Anybody else working at the home base, Walt???
Tall Timber JoJhn McDonald of Ticoderoga was named Essex County District Attorney, Tuesday by Governor Rockefeller. John, now the village attorney for Ticonderoga, will serve a term ending December 31 with a permanent official to be elected in November.

Al Reich of Sudbury, Mass., a director of the National Paraplegia Foundation and volunteer president in 1969, 1970, recently spoke at the opening dinner of the Easter Seal Campaign on March 7, at the Soko Center.
