It's that time again, gang—once more the summer has slipped by us in New England and is making it's way down the coast to the Floridians.

Leaves from the recent storm (Doria) have hit the ground for the first time and footballs are being pumped at the local gas stations—sure signs that reunions will be experienced along the scheduled paths of the Big Green Teams.

Our sincere wishes for a repeat season goes to Jake Crouthamel and his boys.

Speaking of reunions, our grand gettogether is fast approaching and this is the year for pre-reunion preparations. So all of you guys that wish for the greatest 20th, please don't be bashful about offering your services to the reunion committees. Nuff said for now, more later in the year.

Now for the business at hand and to those who have created news by their endeavors of late:

Bob Curtis is now the Town of Danvers, (Mass.) third Town Manager since the inception of the new form of government adopted in 1950. Prior to his present position, he was administrative assistant in Portland, Me., then to Houlton, Me. as Manager, and more recently the executive secretary for the Town of Ipswich, Mass.

Bob and his lovely wife Jane have given me a good run for the most kids produced by a member of the Class; they have eight wonderful children and reside at 12 Bradford Road, Danvers, Mass. One more, Bob, and maybe we can set up the Curtis Cat, via the Teevens' Terrors baseball game!

Ken Strout was recently promoted to vice-president of manufacturing by Rodney Steiff, president of the Steiff Company, Baltimore, Md. Ken joined the Company in 1969 as plant manager. He has over 14 years of valuable experience in the metal working industry.

Dick Pratt of Main Road, Westport, Mass., has been elected secretary-treasurer of the 3500-member Massachusetts Association of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers. Dick is treasurer of the Earl R. Thomas Insurance Agency, Inc. of Fall River, Mass. As secretary-treasurer to the Association, he will be responsible for overseeing the many Statewide Association activities which include legislation, public relations, education and other services to independent agents and brokers.

Among the above, Dick is also president of the Greater Fall River Association of Insurance Agents and treasurer of the Westport Point Methodist Church—Good Show, Dick!

Busy John Cutler has been elected assistant vice-president of two CNA Financial Corp. Insurance Subsidiaries—Continental Casualty Company and Continental Assurance Co. John is also counsel for Continental Assurance, and administrative head of the mortgage and investment real estate department. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago, Bar Association and Chicago Park District Recreational Improvement Advisory Committee, and is former president of the Chicago Yachting Association—Whew!!

Word has just been received that the YVeidmans are on the move again ... the Weidman Corporation announced officially that on July 5, 1971, it moved its headquarters from Lancaster, Pa., to Mayville, N. Y., on the shores of beautiful Lake Chautauqua. Jim Weidman, chairman of the board, announced the move. In January, 1971, the Public Relations Department of Hamilton Watch Company was dissolved due to economic conditions. On March 1, 1971 Jim was appointed director of corporate communications for Welch Ford, Inc. Corporate headquarters is located in Chautauqua County, N. Y., in the heart of the world's largest Concord grape growing area. All friends, relatives and acquaintances are invited to visit 163 South Erie Street, when in the territory and test the delicious flavor of Welch's Grape Juice. Touche!

Keep those cards and letters rolling, men—see you next month.
