Burt and Judy Dorsett recently moved to their new home at 28 Maplewood Drive, in Darien, Conn. They have four children, Mark (11), Debbie (15), Jeff (16), and Cindy (18) who is attending Windham College, in Putney, Vt. Burt is executive vice president of College Retirement Equities Fund (CREF) in N.Y. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business School following a couple of years with du Pont. After Harvard, he joined Booz-Allen & Hamilton and in 1962 became vice president for investments at the University of Rochester. Burt is a trustee of Keuka College (as well as CREF), and is a director of the Eberstadt Fund, the Chemical Fund, the Garlock, Inc.
Jim O'Hara has been promoted to full professor of English at the University of Connecticut. He and Pat live on Olsen Drive in Mansfield Center with their three children, Diane, Kathy and Michael.
Pete Grenquist was elected vice president, audio-visual, as a general officer of the corporation by the board of directors of Prentice-Hall, Inc. He and Barbara live at 417 Riverside Drive in New York with their baby son Robert, (5½ months old).
Dick Thomas, presently vice president and general manager of Dialogue Marketing Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Time Inc., will become advertising director of "Money," a new monthly magazine on personal and family finance to be launched by Time. Beginning with Time magazine in 1956, Dick served in a variety of advertising sales assignments for 13 years. He left Time to become senior vice president in charge of marketing for National Student Marketing Corporation, and in 1970 returned to Time, Inc. Dick and Priscilla (Pris) have five little Thomases; Dick Jr., Charlie, Amy, Doug and Peter, and they live at 10 Quintard Avenue in Old Greenwich, Conn.
Dr. Gil Shapiro, orthopaedic surgeon, left his home in Lewiston, Mass., in April for a two-month tour of duty aboard the S. S. HOPE. He will participate in the ship's health and medical training program in Natal, Brazil. Following graduation, Gil received his medical education at Tufts University Medical School and did graduate work at Lahey Clinic and Boston City College. He is currently affiliated with St. Lukes and Union Hospitals in New Bedford, Mass. Project HOPE is the principal activity of the People-to-People Health Foundation, Inc., an independent, non-profit international health organization, with headquarters in Washington, D. C. It is sponsored by donations from the American people.
