CLASS DUES ARE DUE, and remittances to Lou Young invariably include comments and biogs of interest. Herewith, from Dr. LarryBarnett: In February of 1940 I was obliged to sever my connections with the Big Green - except for friendships, class dues, etc. Finished at Univ. of Virginia and went thru New York Dental School (with a slight interruption, in the Marine Corps 1943-46). Live and practice golf in Chappaqua, N.Y. - dentistry in New York City. See some of the boys at the Yale and Princeton games and went to Hanover this fall for the Tiger do. Have a.wife, four kids, three dogs and a cat. The married one went to Colby Jr(F). another at Colgate(M), one may be going to the Big G(F) next year, and another, aged 13(M) undecided. See ya' ... my very best to all ... Larry.

From Bill Sleepeck: Hi, Lou - best to you and yours - all is great here - Sleep. From Bob Hess: Grandson, Bryan Wayne Hess, born in Bremerhaven, Germany, No. 27, 1972; father, W. W. All classmates were mailed a letter from President dent Ed McMiilan giving data on the Bequest and Esate Planning Program. That letter and enclosures were quite complete and need no repeating here, but this note is to urge you to send in the return form, one of the enclosures. This goes to Bob Kaiser '39, in charge of the program at the College, and will be of much help in drawing up the '41 approach.

It's been fun doing business with Alan Jasper, who as head of Alan Jasper Associates, Kennebunk, Me., has made a well-respected place for himself in advertising, promotion, publicity and marketing in the North Country. During the rising drumfire for the Reunion he wrote one of the best-humored letters I've ever received and, as soon as found, it will run in this space. A letter of pre-Christmas origin from Marston and NancyGibbs, having just been found by the Post Office, advises of a trip to Rome, and a return which found him doing what he has wanted to do: end commuting to downtown New York, where he was an insurance executive, and becoming vice president of the Rollins Agency, Bronxville, N.Y.

In making his plans for the '73 Alumni Fund, Bud Hart reports he is still looking for a few reply cards from his pre-Christmas mailing to Assistant Class Agents. These cards, with names of those the ACA would like to contact, will then go into his Apple-Land Computer, which will in due time produce names of three or four men for each ACA to reach. Bud's memeo'd letter included a list of agents and potential agents, and said return postcard to be mailed in.

Bud plans to expand the ACA totals from 70 last year to over 100. If my experience as Reunion Chairman last year is any beacon, his ambition should be amply fulfilled. I wrote to 218 classmates, asking each if he would write, telegraph, telephone, exhort and proselytize several others into coming to Hanover. Had hoped 90 would agree to help, or about 40%, but my estimate was most faulty; 155 did ... may their numbers increase.
