Juliet (Mrs. Arthur T.) Soule has had an active year. On January, '72, she attended the marriage of her granddaughter in Denver. Then a trip with her daughter Mollie and husband to Mexico. Juliet now lives year round in Shelter Island Heights. Elisabeth (Mrs. Charles) Safford keeps up with the Magazine while busy cultivating Quechee's rose garden.
From Mrs. Donald Adams, daughter of Esther(Mrs. Gordon) Blanchard, we learn that Esther, who is quite ill, remains in her apartment with the assistance of two nurses. John Thompson, not quite recovered from his illness, regrets that he cannot attend Reunion, but sends greetings to all whom he calls "Hardy Survivors."
Mrs. Mable (Eliphalet, or commonly "Life")Greeley has written a charming account of her daily program at her granddaughter's home in Champlain, Ill. She is housekeeper while all the family is still in bed or at work or school. Mable is developing a plan to attend Reunion. Margaret Wilson, daughter of the late George Wilson, is also planning to attend Reunion, and it appears at this moment that she will succeed. She lives in San Francisco. She, too, has prepared a letter to be read to the Class.
Stacey Irish spent six days in a hospital in early December, with bronchitis, but was discharged in time to enjoy his 60th wedding anniversary, which their daughters arranged. Bernice (Mrs. Irish) suffered a coronary attack on January 27, spent three days in the cardiac unit and three weeks in the hospital.
