Sid Bull has been with Gulf Oil for 27 years and has just been transferred from Pennsylvania to Connecticut. He and Miriam are living in West Simsbury. Their oldest son Howard is studying marine biology at the Florida Institute of Technology. Their youngest son Glenn will attend New England college this fall. Sid occasionally sees Brad Bates who is an attorney in Hartford.

Don Baldwin resigned two years ago as vice president of the Bead Chain Manufacturing Company in Bridgeport, Conn. He then took the courageous step of entering the investment business. Fishing has become an essential form of relaxation during these days of extreme market unpredictability.

Alex Hooker is Professor of Romance Languages at Ripon College in Wisconsin. He has just been named an Outstanding Educator of America for 1973. This annual award honors distinguished men and women for their exceptional service, achievements and leadership in the field of education. Their selection guidelines include teaching talents, contributions to research, administrative abilities, civic service and professional recognition. Each year, those chosen are featured in the national awards volume. Outstanding Educators of America. We all join in congratulating you, Alex.

Phil Locke recently has been appointed Division Counsel and Contract Administrator for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, Conn. Phil and Esther have two children. Mary graduated from Wellesley and received her M.A. in Education from San Francisco State College. She now is teaching in San Jose. Brainard is a student in Elmira College where he is in the Air Force Reserve.

All of us are saddened to hear of the recent death of Scott Matthews' wife Helen after a long illness. Scott was particularly pleased to have so many of their close friends in the Class at the funeral services in Greenwich, Conn, and on Cape Cod. Included were Lois and Frank Faruolo,Jeanne and Matt Bride, Ruth and Buddy pummel, and Nancy and Alan Dingwall. The Matthews' girls are doing very well. Sara graduated from Sarah Lawrence and now is studying at the Sorbonne. Elizabeth is a senior at Wellesley and Margaret is studying art in Beverly, Mass.

Dr. Bill Burke spent only his freshman year at Dartmouth before transferring to Yale and completing his medical studies at Cornell. He made many lifelong friends in the Class during this relatively short stay, however. Bill now practices obstetrics in Bridgeport, Conn. Bill and Ernestine's oldest son William graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy and the next son Tony graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The third son Robert is in Cornell Medical School after having graduated from Dartmouth in 1971. The next son Michael, is a senior at Yale and their oldest daughter Carol is a junior at Smith. The two youngest girls remain at home. Bill is particularly anxious to be remembered to Hugh Halsey and Alex Fanelli.

The Nash Engineering Company, South Norwalk, Conn., has announced the election of David Warren as a director and vice president of marketing. Dave also holds membership in the Dartmouth Engineering Society and the Technical Association, Pulp and Paper Institute. He and Jeanette and their children live in Wilton, Conn.

Those of you who did not make Reunion last year should not let too much time pass before returning to Hanover. This summer would be a particularly good time to revisit the campus and to familiarize yourself with the many interesting improvements. Make this another great Summer of '42.
