The members of the Class continue to serve the College in many ways as is indicated by the new Alumni Officers directory which has just been published. Bill Curtis of Boulder, Colorado has joined Paul Cleaveland on the Alumni Council. The Phoenix, Arizona, Alumni club has Jim Pearson as president and Bob Lewis as secretary - a clean sweep for '36. John S.Sullivan continues as secretary of the Lawrence-Lowell club and Al Momenee is in his second year as president of the Detroit club, while BobMorris continues as enrollment director for District .900 - Los Angeles, Calif. If you are in the area when these various groups meet I'm sure you would be welcome. I would also like to remind those who may be in the Hanover area in early May that the Class Officers Weekend which is normally scheduled by the College for the first weekend in May will be held the second weekend, May 10-11 so that Freshmen Fathers can meet on May 2-3. Our class will be having a dinner for all classmates and wives who are available at the Outing Club Saturday night, the 11th. If you plan to attend let Ray Builter or me know sometime in advance of that date.
Class Alumni Fund Agent Frank Curtis is assembling his team and by the time you read this, the annual drive will be getting under way. If we all pitch in we can do better than last year (which was one of our better years) and if an article in The New York Times this week is any indicator, the College will really need it when the increased cost of heating fuel alone will be more than $1,000,000! Frank and Marge are going to San Francisco for a meeting of United Fund Executive directors then to visit for a week in Hawaii, then back to visit with their daughter in San Francisco. He also hopes to contact some classmates en route to and from these various spots.
Another class project is the May 7-18 1936 Reunion in Greece. A recent check with tour leader, Bill Wyman indicates that the group is approximately half full at this writing with additional interested classmates. Among those going are Harry and Rose Coronis, Rod andElizabeth Ladd, George and Ruth Brown, Basiland Katie Coutrakon, and Gil and Ann Sykes. If you are interested contact Bill at Appleby and Wyman Travel, Box 128, Concord, Mass. 617-369-1811. Reports on the last trip to Portugal were good so this should be even better.
Some of you may know that Bill is presently at home with his leg in a cast, having slipped on the ice in Boston early in January and badly broken an ankle. He reports, however that he will be ready to lead the group when May rolls around.
Usually at this time of year we receive a list of 1936 offspring now in Hanover, however this year's list is somewhat confusing. Apparently the year-round operation and many off-campus courses and projects compound the difficulty. In any event, here's what they have given me and let me know if you have any corrections, additions, etc.

I was recently sent a clipping from The NewYork Times which was an ad for a president for Mohawk Valley Community Colleges in New York State. The chairman of the search committee was Stuart MacMackin of our class. The last we heard Stu was disenchanted with all colleges so perhaps he had had a change of heart. We don't have any other up-to-date information but perhaps we'll hear from him.
It is with great regret that I have to inform you of the death of Phil McInnis' wife Leslie in California just before Christmas. For those of the Class who have been able to get to Hanover for football games or other occasions, Leslie will always be remembered as a gracious hostess with Phil on many occasions at their home on Dana Road. I'm sure I speak for the Class in extending our sympathy to Phil as well as Nancy and Susan.
