The big weekend draws closer and I hope that each of you has made plans to be in Hanover on June 14-16. Chuck Brower and Bruce Clark have planned some interesting and educational events, and there is bound to be something for everyone. All we need is some cooperation from the weatherman.

One classmate who won't have to travel very far is Dr. Dudley Weider. The good doctor has been appointed to the faculty of the Dartmout Medical School as clinical assistant professor of otolaryngology. Dudley received his M.D. from Tufts in 1964, and most recently has been a staff physician at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.

Richard Sutliff has been granted academic tenure from Willamette University in Salem, Ore. Dick is a professor of English, Jack Litchfield has left Lever Bros, and is now marketing director of Ferrero U.S.A. For those of you not in package goods, Ferrero is a confection company and makes Tic-Tac breath mints. Jack tells me that it is the fastest growing candy in the country and a joy to work on, Thomas Creal III is a partner in the Warren (Pa.) firm of Fisher, Creal, Hyde & Barnes, architects and engineers. Business must be pretty good since they have opened an office in Jamestown as well. Tom will head up the new office which makes sense since he was born in Jamestown. He received a degree from Syracuse University School of Architecture in 1963 and worked in New York for five years before going to Warren.

Dick Bonz, according to a release fron Boston, has been elected a vice presided of Minot, DeBiois & Maddison, Inc., real estate contultants investment and property managers, and personal trustees. Dick, who earned a graduate degree in city planning from the U. of Penn is a faculty member at George Washington U., and was previously with an economic consultant firm in Washington. He and Mimi and two sons are now living in Norwell, Mass.

Believe it or not, that clears up all the new in my files. It's hard to accept the fact that I began doing this column four years ago, and that another Reunion is upon us. Phyllis and I will be going to Horizons and Class Officers next weekend, so we'll get to see a lot of Hanover this spring. We hope to see you in June and want to remind you to contribute generously to the Alumni Fund before Reunion. We still have a long way to go if we are to reach our goal of $100,000.

Meanwhile, happy summering.
