The spring of 1974 is proving to be a happy and productive time for '65. There's been a lot of news lately - most of it very good - so this final column of the year has been easy to write. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time during the past nine months to keep your classmates up-to-date on the where's, why's and what's of your lives and careers.

New Jersey's "School Without Walls," an external degree program at Thomas Edison College, has appointed Joel Sternfeld as chairman of its finance program. Joel has been an assistant professor of law and finance at Stockton State College. Thomas Edison is a new college, which borrows faculty from other state institutions. Its programs enable students to complete a college curriculum through independent study and examination. Joel is also on the academic council at the college and is, thereby, very involved with the formulation of academic policy and other curricular matters.

65's effort in the 1974 Alumni Fund has been remarkable.to date: over $11,500 pledged by 218 class members. We are well on our way to another class record, and may well turn in the best performance ever by a class nine years out of Dartmouth. I continue to marvel at the energy of Steve Waterhouse and his cadre of assistant agents. Congratulations to them, and a "well done" to all '6ss who have helped the Class get off to such a tremendous start.
Best wishes to all of you for a happy summer. Please stay in touch.
