Bill Katz wrote me during the summer and noted that in June he joined Health Management Associates as a principal in the Elmsford, N.Y., headquarters. His company is the consulting group of American Health Facilities, Division of American Hospital Supply Corporation. Bill will be responsible for planning, management and financial consulting activities of the company throughout the United States. He received his MBA degree from Tuck School in 1961 and a DBA degree from the George Washington University in 1972 where he has been on the faculty of the School of Business Administration teaching hospital economics and financial management courses since 1967. Since 1970 Bill has been involved in health care consulting through his own firm and one other. Bill, Betsy, and their two children, Steven and Debra, moved to Old Greenwich, Conn., in late August. Now that he is in New England, Bill hopes to find more time for Big Green activities.

Class news collected during this football season is sparse since the rains kept many from the games or at least curtailed the tailgating activities. Arnie and Marcie Sigler made the Harvard game as did Rick Lyman, Joel Alvord, JohnGuy, and Bob Kenerson. At the Yale game I sat next to Roger Schaefer who is an investment officer with U. S. Trust Company of New York and lives in Basking Ridge, N. J. Also present were Rory and Heather Mullett whom I had scarcely seen since law school. The Mulletts live in Summit, N.J. Rory is involved with employee relations at Allied Chemical and Heather is in the law department with the same company which permits them to operate a convenient car pool for two. Conor Mullett, age, 9 and Kerry Mullett, age 10, also attended the game as did William McCarter III, age 8, and Susan McCarter, age 7. Abbie and Larry Gazley were present with their son John, age 11, as were RickLyman and Seth Strickland. Al and Betsy Stowe nearly ran us down after the game as we headed toward the Gazleys house in Waterford, Conn., for a pleasant weekend.

The executive committee meeting took place at my house in Winchester Friday evening prior to the Harvard game. Phil and Mary Lou Kron were our house guests for the weekend. Gus andGail Leach flew in from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Tom and Dorla Brock were present for the evening as were Gene and Judy Kohn, SethStrickland, Max Eveleth, and Jon Cohen. Seth presented the treasurer's report since ArnieSigler could not make the meeting. Fortunately the Class is still solvent in spite of an unenviable dues paying record. Phil Kron presented a multi-page report on class participation in the Alumni Fund with many exhibits attached. We did fall $2,180 short of bur goal of $38,000. Don't be surprised if you hear from Phil early next year.

As a final note on the 1975 Alumni Fund, Phil has asked me to publicly thank the 105 members of the Class who worked with him as class agents and to express special appreciation to the following 13 agents who obtained 100 per cent participation from their assigned classmates: Bob Becker, Bruce Clark, Lew Cressler, Dick Griggs, Bill Gundy, Tom Kirby, Alex McGinnis, Earle Patterson, Jim Progin, Bob Prouty, Ira Salafsky, Peter Scott, and Steve Singer. Phil is now in the process of building the team for the 1976 drive and hopes all of you who helped last year will stay aboard and, hopefully, be supplemented by others in the Class who will be able to find a few hours in 1976 to help Dartmouth in a most meaningful way. We hit the predictable post-reunion slump in 1975, but are committed, as a Class, to return to our traditional position of leadership in 1976.

As I was looking through my 1974 Christmas cards to see if I could pare down my list this year, I ran across a card from Win and ViciRobinson containing a poem about our 15th Reunion presumably written by Abbie Gazley. Since it enlivened Christmas for the Robinsons last year with a bit of nostalgia, I thought I would print the poem in full. It reads as follows:

"To Robs and Vici we thought to write Of reunion activities (day and night) We checked into No. Fairweather 205 Finding it changed but still alive Then off to the tees the boys did move, Brockster and Alio against Seth and Zoo. The rain came down like Seth and Zoo's tears As Brockster and Alio emerged victorious after 14 years.

"That evening was swinging in the '60's tent With dancing, friends and elbows bent. Uncle Wiggly, Goose, Sigler, Wireback did not see McCarter, Bowlby and Zoo stay up 'til three. Hodgson was there like the shadow he is But "Joe Onion" no, he must have had biz.

"With bodies dragging the picnic began, More beer flowing and a Dixieland band. The weather was beautiful and more faces seen ... Colby, Spence, Virostek, Eric, Summer and Geese inbetween. Then on to cocktails and a roast beef dinner With Mrs. Alfred E. and her father's speech a winner. Officers were announced with the pres., Seth Devore And McCarter the Sec . . . need I say more? Then more suds and the highlight of the week For thru the tents Alio and Bowlby did "STREAK!!!"

"After this excitement my fears came true As good ole Zoo didn't last even 'til two. McEachron and his wife to be this week Took the "45° angle" off to the dorm to sleep. But finding the evening still ripe for a spree I found Kathy Strickland (Seth too had fallen) to go out with me.

And guess who we found to be our date? None other than Moosie, stag and await. Into his Fiat we all did squeeze and sped To the all night bus stop so we could be fed. After our return Kathy thought it quite late But we stayed up "talking" about the summer of '58.

It was a fun time and we had not a care But many were disappointed that you weren't there. Merry Christmas to all '60s and their families.
