Marital bliss: Congratulations to Jim Noyes and the former Margaret Manning; JimEldridge (House Counsel for American Family Insurance, Milwaukee) and Mary Evenson (Minn. '70); Steve Engleman and Betsy Stern (Miami of Ohio).
Medical World: Tom and Ann Goss are in NYC, where Tom is a senior resident in orthopedic surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. John Slater (Harvard Med. '74) is a resident in pediatrics at Jacoby Hospital in the Bronx. Ted and Linda Renna along with daughter Anne, born in October, have settled in Concord, Mass. Ted started his opthalmology residency at Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary in July. John Melski is a fellow in computer medicine at Beth Israel, Boston. Kim Ritchey with wife and son, are enjoying a two-year Navy stint, following Kim's completion of a pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. Warren Regelmann and his wife are both finishing residencies (he in pediatrics, she in ob-gyn) in Minneapolis. Bill and Judy Fitzpatrick with son Shayne, have settled in Franklin, N.H., where Bill has established a general practice, following two years with the Indian Health Service in Ketchikan, Alaska. David and Melanie Fischel are in Seattle. David is a resident in pediatrics at U. Wash, and Melanie teaches at the School of Nursing. They expect a baby this month, "Class of '96." Jimand Kathy Hodges plan a two-year stay in Charlottesville, Va., with son Tyler. Jim is in his second year of a family practice residency at U. Va. Hospital, following two years as a flight surgeon for the USAF. Dick Seiler his wife and two sons are in Springfield, Mass., where Dick practices "futuristic medicine." What is it Dick?
The Law: Dan Bort is practicing law in San Francisco and reports that Steve Carley joined the same firm. Bill and Judy Kolasky with son and daughter, departed the Army in June. Bill is now an associate at the firm of Cutler and Pickering in Washington. Steve Small is a specialist in energy matters with Jones and Gerstenfield in Bethesda, Md. Steve and Laura now have a daughter. Dan Hedges is in the litigation department of Fulbright and Jaworski in Houston. Dan has taken up long distance running, having performed in Galveston, Tulsa and NYC, and plans to enter the Dartmouth Med. School marathon in '76. Don Becker is now director of a law reform project funded by the American Bar Assn. Don will be working with the Boston Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights, towards improving conditions at Bridgewater (max. security prison) Mass.
Business: Roger and Margie Overholt are in Hamburg, N.Y., with their two "very large" boys. Rog is working for Masonite Corporation, Margie is teaching math. Hank and WendyPaulson with their two children, are in Illinois, where Hank works for Goldman Sachs and Co. in the corporate finance area (Chicago). The Paulson's have built a "house in the woods" as well. Hank had previously worked for several years at the Pentagon and White House. PeteFahey also works in the finance area of Goldman Sachs and Co. (NYC), having graduated in June as a "Baker Scholar" from Harvard B-School. Pete, his wife and three children are living in Port Washington, Long Island. Rich DuMoulin works for Ogden Marine in NYC, chartering ships, and developing business. He spends as much time as possible on the family craft, a "Carter 39," and plans to race to Bermuda this spring. One of the hardy crew will be Lee Reichart.
Academia: Jerry ("Jasper") and Diane Smith are in Gainesville, Fla., where Jerry has two more years in dental school and Diane is teaching. Luis Escovar picked up a Ph. D. in Psychology from Penn. State. Ned and MimsyCummings are graduate students at USC and living in Santa Monica. Mimsy studies urban planning and Ned English literature on a USAF scholarship. Capt. Ned plans to be teaching at the Air Force Academy by the time our tenth reunion rolls around. Tim Sturgeon, who has been running a summer school for three years in Europe, is on the staff of the Bishop School, La Jolla, Calif., teaching French English, and geography. Derek Wolshonak has been performing in Cabaret in the Boston area while teaching at the Joy of Movement Center in Cambridge. He spent the summer in Hanover, directing Fiddler on the Roof. Sin Tung Chiu, an accomplished violinist and experienced teacher has moved from his position at the Juilliard School in NYC to join the music faculty at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. ArnoldResnicoff was ordained as a rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (NYC) in Sept. His wife Barbara (Radcliffe '68, Harvard Law '71) is assistant attorney general for New York.
