Mrs. Richard Frederick Roth and Mr. BriardNoble Greeley have announced their marriage Saturday, the eleventh of January 1975. Their address is 56 Roosevelt Drive, Bedford Hills, N.Y.

Tom Grey, grandson of Pete Grey and son of Spencer Grey '51 received an early acceptance at Dartmouth as of 12/15/74. Presumably he will matriculate as a member of the class of 1979.

Helen Hitchcock died in Sarasota, Fla., on Monday, December 9, 1974. She leaves her husband James E. Hitchcock, two sons and five grandchildren.

The Hanover office has given me this new address for James C. Davis. It is 1013 Augusta Drive, Sun City, Fla. 33570. I can't find this place on my 1967 map so it must be a new community. Please send Jim your complaints there. He has several from letters prepared for your delectation and edification.

Late in December Spider Martin told me that "we plan to go to Arizona on January 22. Our address will be Casa Blanca Inn, Scottsdale, Arizona. By the time you see these notes the Martins may well be back in Wellesley, Mass. You might keep this address for future use in 1976.

The New Hampshire Historical Society, Concord, N.H., has received from Hildreth M. Allison the mathematics copy book of Ebenezer Allen, dated 1815.

Nick Sandoe has advised me that our annual class fall reunion in Hanover is scheduled for Saturday October 4, the date of the football game against Holy Cross. Jigger Merrill is in charge of our program for that weekend October 3-5 but you are expected to make yourown room reservations directly with the Hanover Inn.

By the time you read these notes the 1975 Alumni Fund campaign will be about to begin. For the fourth consecutive year Nock Wallis is head agent for our class. Many years ago I gave a report on Nock's career in the Smoke Signal. He spent over 40 years with Dennison Mfg. Co. in Framingham, Mass., and retired in March 1966. He was elected assistant treasurer in 1939 and when he retired his title was v.p. - finance. For many years Nock has been one of Framingham's leading citizens. He is still trustee of Framingham Union Hospital and honorary trustee of Framingham Savings Bank. He still sings in the choir of the First Parish Church (Unitarian) and is somewhat active in church affairs. He has two Dartmouth sons, William P. '46 and Samuel G. '52. Sam has been newsletter editor of his class for many years.
