I write these notes from the Highland Park Club, Lake Wales, Fla., where we have spent February. The weather has been good, and we have enjoyed our stay. Here we have seen Len Reade '17, Lang Robinson '18, and Billy Bemis, widow of Bill Bemis '18.
I have talked on the telephone with Stu Russell. He and his wife plan to come north in June for a short visit.
Si Stein threw a big bash for 200 in honor of his 80th birthday. It was a boat trip with all the fixins. Russell labels it "a majestic evening."
A letter from Doris Ross tells how much she appreciates cards and letters.
During the worst of the Buffalo winter I talked to Emily Gale, who said she had not been outdoors for five days.
John Williams, who has done such a superb job running the fall reunions, will be chairman of the 60th reunion, to be held in June 1979. It is a fine choice.
From here we go to Pinehurst after a short stopover at the Belleview Biltmore in Belleaire. While there we expect to see Mary and JimDavis who are at Sun City Center. In Pinehurst we will see Mary and Doc Hodgkins.
