An endowed scholarship, to be known as the Daniel W. Loeser 1930 Scholarship Fund, has been established at the College by the Louis D. Beaumont Foundation of Cleveland. The scholarship will be first awarded in the fall of 1975, and will go to a freshman who will be designated as the Loeser Scholar for his or her undergraduate career.

Vic Borella will serve as Vice President Rockefeller's special adviser on labor. DickButterfield's firm has been awarded the job of planning and designing a new Town Hall in Southbury, Conn., Milt Mclnnes reports. PaulThompson of Boulder retired several years ago from his position as professor of English at the University of Colorado. He and .Dorothy are trying to finish a book'that has been under way for some years presumably dealing either with Jonathan Swift or opera.

We have learned with sorrow of the death of Richard G. Tilt on January 15 and of Harold H. Sherburne on January 24.

Snub Poehler retired from the Lexington public school system in 1969. "We moved to Moody, Maine, and for the past five years I have worked part time teaching and supervising student teachers for the University of Maine, Portland-Gorham, and UNH. Mary and I keep active in civic and community affairs including Meals-on-Wheels and the local Audubon society. A freighter trip to South America is in our plans for the spring." Al Smith is a Temple, N.H. selectman as well as a member of the zoning board. "Have been able somewhat to control taxes and incursions by developers, but it is a continuing struggle against heavy odds. Annie still active with the Heart Fund as she was also in Mel Thomson's reelection campaign."
