Douglas Fay writes from New Orleans, La., that his life is very active. He is in good health, can run a hundred yard dash in ten seconds, keeps up his interest in the three major sports, attends a few concerts, some opera, and some lectures at Tulane University. Each summer he spends a month in Colorado where he has two sons, daughters-in-laws, and the grandchildren. He is not sure he will be able to make it this year with air fares as high as they are, and with gasoline if he drives.

DeWalt Ankeny notes that in the April issue of the Alumni Magazine we mentioned that we would like to know the first Twenty-Oner who has a granddaughter in the Dartmouth freshman class. "Pick"-reports that Catherine Anson, the daughter of Peter and Sally entered Dartmouth from West High School in Minneapolis. A week earlier "Ing" Baker comes through from Portland, Me., that he has a granddaughter Wendy who is a member of the sophomore class at the College, and her brother Timothy graduated from Dartmouth last June. Another brother-sister pair from Maine were the children of the football star and captain, Frederick R. Radke.

Douglas Storer told us last April that he was writing pocket-sized books for Simon and Schuster, the first one being Amazing but TrueAnimals. He sent this one to me, and it is fascinating.

On April 21, 1975 Phil Noyes reports the arrival of a bouncing baby girl, the second great-grandchild, in Tacoma, Wash., born to Deborah Gatchel, the daughter of Phil Noyes Jr. (D'49). Phil Sr. had just returned from St. Petersburg Fla. at the home of son Donald. He reports fine weather, and missed the snow and rain of early April in New England.

Allen Braley planned to fly to Wisconsin in May to pay a short visit on Allen Jr. He has just finished a new house high above the Mississippi River which according to Allan "must be inspected."

Dave Plume is living at Delray Beach, Fla. His wife Mary and he will be leaving there and taking the Auto Train from Sanford, Fla., and stopping over at their old farm in Pennsylvania, arriving in Scarsdale on May 15. This was one of the finest winters weatherwise in the South, and the Plumes have enjoyed it immensely. Dave has made monthly trips to New York City on business, flying out of the West Palm Beach airport. Incidentally, the Plumes had several nice visits with Betty McKay at Deerfield Beach. She still remains a "stalwart 21-er gal." Dave plans to come to Hanover for the fall reunion of the class.
